The HAKOMetar Plus serves as an effective tool for assessing the current quality of Internet services while addressing concerns of net neutrality. It provides users with a detailed overview that includes both graphical and statistical representations of various performance metrics. Furthermore, the tool adheres to the BEREC report “Monitoring Quality of Internet Access Services in the Context of Net Neutrality” (BoR (14) 117).

Key features of the HAKOMetar Plus include:

• A comprehensive speed test to measure download and upload speeds, as well as ping times.
• Multiple quality of service tests that evaluate whether the Internet service provider is operating in a net-neutral manner. This encompasses tests for TCP and UDP ports, a VOIP service evaluation, proxy assessments, DNS checks, and more.
• A map view of all test results, offering filter options by test parameters, statistical data, operator, and time of day.
• In-depth statistics for better insight into performance trends.
• A red/yellow/green evaluation system for test results, commonly referred to as a "traffic-light" system.
• Access to the user’s personal test history for ongoing review.
